Bret Farrar

Bret is the founding partner of Sendero Business Services, with responsibilities that include business strategy, project delivery, quality assurance, recruiting, client satisfaction, business development, and staff development and retention. He has 23 years of experience in Information Technology, working with business and IT organizations to improve their effectiveness through their strategies, communications, organizations, people, processes, and technologies. His areas of specialty include project delivery, enterprise architectures, and process consulting. He has worked in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, mining, energy, transportation, utilities, health care, and retail.

Bret's top priority is to work with his clients to clearly define criteria for a successful client engagement and then work single-mindedly to exceed those expectations. His success as an entrepreneur stems from his belief that long-term client relationships are created through creative, workable solutions, an ability to assemble an outstanding team of consultants, and consistent and exceptional delivery on client commitments.

Before starting Sendero in 2004, Bret provided senior IT leadership in the energy industry, was an independent consultant, and began his career as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Bret is married with four children. He is also an avid soccer player and a coach for his children's soccer teams.

Ruth Farrar

Ruth is a partner with the company and has over 17 years of experience consulting in various industries, including professional services, banking, products, energy, and manufacturing. She has a broad range of project experience, including Organization Design, Curriculum Design and Development, and Performance Management Design. Her current role includes designing and implementing Sendero's internal HR processes, as well as building the Human Performance practice.

Ruth started her career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where she quickly discovered and focused on Change Management as her specialty. After five years she left to pursue an independent consulting career, which allowed her to manage travel requirements and balance work and family. She joined Sendero in 2005.

Ruth graduated from Houston's Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She is married and has four children.

Scott A. Miller

Scott is a partner with Sendero Business Services and has over 15 years of management and technology consulting experience within the financial services, telecommunications, energy, and manufacturing industries. In addition, he has seven years of IT management experience within Fortune 500 companies, where he held multiple roles leading both project teams and operational groups. His primary focus is on Sendero's Strategy and Business Management and Technology Consulting practices.

Scott began his career at Electronic Data Systems and also worked for Computer Science Corporation, TXU, and Alliance Data Systems. During his tenure with these organizations, he specialized in the practice areas of technology and systems integration, along with management and strategy consulting.

Scott received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Dallas, Graduate School of Management. He is married with two children.

David Allston

David is a partner with Sendero Business Services and has over 14 years of management and technology consulting experience gained in the banking, healthcare, insurance, energy, and manufacturing industries and an additional six years of senior business and IT leadership experience in industry. He is primarily focused on business development, project delivery, and establishing Sendero's Strategy and Business Management Consulting practice.

David has deep strategic IT planning expertise gained through helping business and technology executives reengineer their processes and develop technology plans to enable their business strategy. His blend of consulting and IT leadership experience provides him with valuable perspective necessary to help technology executives best structure their organization and processes to enable true alignment with their business partners and effective implementation of technology.

Prior to joining Sendero Business Services, David was a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Tactica Technology Group (now Hitachi Consulting) and provided senior leadership to IT and business organizations in the energy and healthcare industries. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. David is married with two children.
