Our client had invested significant time and energy into designing and developing two complex instructor-led courses, and piloted both in 2007. The business was driving to have the courses offered again in early 2008 to get the target audiences trained and up to speed. Unfortunately, employee turnover resulted in incomplete and multiple versions of edit notes, multiple versions of electronic files, and pages of open questions. The client managers responsible for revising the courses were too overloaded to overcome the obstacles and meet the deadlines.
