Considering how much time we spend at work, isn't it important to like your work environment and the people in it? Consulting companies face unique challenges around building corporate culture and a sense of community. With a leadership team made up of career consultants, we are well aware of the difficulties surrounding a distributed workforce, and are making building the Sendero "family" a priority.

Communication

Constant change goes hand in hand with fast-paced growth. Here's a sampling of the ways we stay in touch:

• weekly all-hands conference calls
• frequent updates to our internal SharePoint site
• monthly office meetings and optional post-meeting social gatherings
• annual day-long off-site meeting for planning, sharing information, and team building

Social Activities

Hard work needs to be balanced with relaxation. We try to honor everyone's need for personal time and still offer opportunities to build and strengthen our relationships in a variety of ways:

• sporting and cultural events

Education Activities

Career growth requires ongoing education. Our employees learn individually and in teams in the following ways:

• individual or team white papers on new technologies, processes, and methodologies
• internal presentations
• internal promotion-level training events
• external need-based training events

Philanthropy

There is a Chinese Proverb that says, "The family that perseveres in good works will surely have an abundance of blessings." Our Sendero family looks for opportunities to help our community with gifts of time and financial aid. Both individuals and groups participate in various activities.
